Diarrhea in the raw food diet?
I recently went to a raw food diet (3 days ago) the last few days I felt sick and now I have diarrhea, but I do not feel sick today. You think it's a way to detoxify my body? Ive just had bowel movements before today in the last couple of days. Sorry to be so graphic, but I need help. raw food diet (lifestyle) is really only in plant foods. Sounds normal to me. When I first stopped eating vegetarian packaged foods, I was sick for 3-4 days. I think the worst of it was due to an addiction to soft drinks. Aspartame is addictive and dangerous. Caffeine can also cause symptoms of abstinence. packaged foods also contain excitotoxins like MSG. Cooking meat also produces addictive substances. If you can hold for a week, I am sure that these symptoms disappear. The diarrhea may be due to the fiber content of your new diet. Give it some time and conforming to this new healthy lifestyle.
