Me variations on this issue a bit. People ask me if there are bars that can be picked up at the grocery store that will be as effective as Medifast bars. I have a definitive opinion on this, which I will share in the following article. It also describes some of the features that I think these bars so effective that will help to understand what attributes you may want to look for if you are trying to find an alternative.
Some of the features that make the Medifast Bars force: I realize that may seem more convenient to get your diet foods from the same place where you buy your food. But with all characteristics of these bars is a difficult task for the products flow most of the principals.
Let's take a look at the Medifast bars we are comparing apples to apples. For the purposes of this article, I'll be talking about the crisis bars. This product contains 110 calories, 3 grams fat, 12 grams carbohydrates, 2 grams of sugar and 11 grams of protein. When you go down the aisles of the store, I suspect we'll have trouble finding another bar that has so few calories, carbohydrates and sugars, while maintaining a high level of protein. But look more closely at the point, I'll take a look at a couple trendy bars, which are readily available and, at least for most people, which is considered quite healthy.
Comparison of two popular Grocery Store Diet Bars: First, I will look in particular K protein snack bars. In terms of calories, this is actually quite similar. Just 110 also. And, has 3.5 grams of fat. But where does the path a little, at least in my opinion, it is low sugar content and amount of protein. This product contains a maximum of 11 grams of sugar and only 4 grams of protein. It has 15 grams of carbohydrates.
Now, let a glimpse of the Kashi Go Lean protein bar. This product has far more calories to 180. Contains 30 grams of carbohydrates, 13 grams of sugar, 5 grams fat, and 9 grams of protein. As you see, sugar, calories, fats, carbohydrates and contents are higher than you might like. It also has the lowest content protein of all the products I have seen.
Many calls protein bars are not as good for you or as effective at weight loss as you could thinking. And if you look at the ingredients, you will often see that one of the first ingredient listed is some form of sugar. For example, you might see the syrup honey or corn listed as one of the first points. If you look at the Medifast bars, you'll see listed there instead of proteins.
People often have the perception that the bars in the store are cheaper and are equally effective. But I hope this article has shown that many of them have sugar and carbohydrate content, in the absence of the protein. If you agree to take less calories and carbohydrates, while raising the protein intake is important for success in weight loss, then you might also suspect that the Medifast bars are more likely to help achieve this basis in nutritional information. And is not it much more expensive. Yes, please order online, but this is a pretty fast and easy.
