Where to buy raw foods in the NYC area?

I am starting a raw food diet before and he wondered if food enthusiasts Crude in New York I can tell where they shop, preferably a cheap place. My closest grocery store are only about 90% of processed or cooked foods. Very often food is not an option very good and health food stores, specialty supermarkets and local markets become the best option. I do not live in New York, but I have jealousy from places like Brooklyn has a big enough health conscious population and most likely have a better place to shop.
