raw food diets for dogs
I have only one question about the raw food diet for dogs …?

The bacteria. Succeptable dogs are the bacteria in raw food? That is more or less why I stopped feeding the dogs raw chicken. Do not get me wrong, I'm not attacking anyone who feeds their dogs a raw diet. Only I want some more information. Does anyone know if the bacteria in raw meat can harm a dog?

In general, yes, the systems of dogs are prepared to handle more "disgusting" food then cats. Some dogs, like people, are more susceptible to bacteria, the elderly and mostly young. I used raw chicken and raw medallions with three dogs, one who was 12 years and two who are 13 years of age. But using a small amount to begin to let the dogs digestive systems get used to the new food. But there are some bacteria that can kill the dogs as they do people. Humbug chain had several people die from contaminated meat, the meat obtained from a distibutor sold many dogs and several litters of pups were killed. Calves have no immunity against the bacteria.
