Where are the best places to eat in the U.S.?

In any place that has the best food for a good price I'm looking for. I'm of a car trip around the U.S. this summer, but nowhere in the Northeast (MD, DE, PA, NJ, NY, ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI and Alaska or Hawaii )…. I vegetarian, so not the best burgers or steaks, lol, but I'm a fan of all things candy / desserts, sorbet or anything mostly vegan, and I love Thai food and Vietnamese Pho soup. I also like anything healthy or "raw" or "living" food, and I love going to the orchards and farms, and select my own fruit and other things … Farmers markets are impressive, and gourmet stores or whole foods, like Trader Joes and Wild Oats / Whole Foods. I like funky supermarket or stores where they have many local products. I'm basically a vegetarian foodie, so nothing I love cooking. Please let me know any ideas you have, thanks! Specific restaurants or stores would be great, thanks for the help!

Good Pho Cali on Main Street in Sarasota. Vietnamese Sweet Tomatoes has a fresh salad bar and good —– reasonable. NC Asheville has some GREAT places vegetarian! ……………….. California safely and with amazing places-San Francisco vegetables has it all! The Stinking Rose Garlic Restaurant is fabulous!
