A friend of mine called me the other day to ask about Jenny Craig. She's really at that point where you feel like you have to do something to shed some weight. The is that just about anything work if you're really in the right mood to make changes in your eating habits.
I like Jenny Craig. The Food is pretty good. There are some drawbacks. The first time I wanted to know about it, I was interested because it seemed that advertises itself as a no brainer, there is no way to prepare the end to take control of your weight loss. This is not exactly true. Yes! You get frozen foods to their meals but must still complete with their own fruit, vegetables, yogurt, cheese sticks, etc. .., and keep a diary of foods thoroughly to account success. The other issue is the relationship cost is very expensive.
The plan is set so that you can lose 1 to 2 pounds per week. This is a safe amount to lose weight slowly and surely will help you not to all back in a week unlike some other diets, but the instant gratification factor that attracts many of us is missing. The first week of weight loss be higher than the others because not leave a lot of water weight, but many of us could reduce salt intake for 2 days and drop 7 pounds so it does not really say much.
I've always liked about Weight Watchers, because if you follow your portion control and the method of points, will lose about 2 pounds a week or less. The good thing about Weight Watchers is that you can eat what you want. You just need to know which is the point value so do not go over it daily. Can save up your points all day and eat all the night if you want, though is certainly not recommended. The beauty of this program is that you are not deprived of all what you normally eat. If … maybe a 12 sub-inch meatballs are out of the question, but could save up enough points in a day or more than a week to eat a 6 inch, if desired. In fact there are no rules. Plus … No one needs 12 inches of meat and bread anyway.
So what about my friend and the fact that she does not want to count calories or points … or eat vegetables? Well … now becoming a little harder to help you, girlfriend! What this? Do not pay Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers! I made the menu for a day she could use for the week and fill it with things he liked – no points, no counting calories (Of course I did it myself counting not have to! I had to cheat it a little) This is what I came for the combination of Jenny Craig and philosophies Weight Watcher!:
Breakfast:
1 light English muffin Thomas
8 ounces of fruit juice
Snack:
Yogurt or cheese stick
Lunch:
Some smart meal – (These are the Weight Watchers frozen dinners are very good and cost about $ 2 or $ 3 piece.)
O
Lean Cuisine meal (also very good frozen dinners)
Salad with light Italian salad dressing or otherwise include all the vegetables you want with it
Snack:
100-calorie pack snacks and pretzels
Dinner:
A smarter or Lean Cuisine meal
Vegetables of choice, not corn or peas (these are starch)
Snack:
100 calories Snack Pack
O
Small bowl of popcorn
O
A piece of fruit (a cup of grapes, an apple, orange, grapefruit, etc. ..)
If you follow this method of feeding, while the choice of foods you like and eat where they fit on the menu, it will be very successful and feel healthier in a few days. Bono weight loss will be felt again and installing energy in tight jeans in question days. Although not as fast as my diet improved protein that can slam 20 pounds in 15 days, you will be 10 pounds lighter and his own image with the feeling 100% happier in 4 weeks. It is well worth it! Good luck.
