Recovering from anorexia and tired after eating?
In the last three years I have been struggling with anorexia, consuming only raw vegetables. Last month I knew I had to stop and started gradually increasing and the introduction of different foods. But everything that I feel tired after and I feel like a nap. I eat a little of everything .. whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean protein, nuts, protein shakes. The only time I have Energy is after drinking a beer or a glass of fruit juice. I've done permanent damage to my digestive system? How long should it take until i start getting energy from food for real?
Almost everyone feels a little tired after eating is normal. That's why we take a "siesta" in Mexico after lunch! Maintain healthy lifestyle and things will get better. You do not get anorexia at night and returning to normal will not happen overnight, either. Give your body time to heal. Each week we get a little better. Best luck!
