The other day I received an email from someone who wanted to know if it was really necessary to order online medifast shakes. He had taken the decision to diet, I wanted to start immediately, and asked me, in part: "what is to stop me from buying just one of the protein shakes in the supermarket and then obtain same results? We will use the new Special K protein shakes as an example. What makes one of the beats of different (or better) than the other? "I will answer these questions in the following article.
A quick review of ketosis: Before you actually take a look at both products, I ketosis quickly explain that I'll be talking a lot. This is a place you want your metabolism to go because if you can get there, your body will start to burn quickly and effective fat. This is because you are not giving your body and giving carbohydrates and more protein. Protein helps older to complete this mission, giving enough fuel to do their job. The lack of carbohydrates ensures that your body burns fat because it can not burn sugar. In my comparisons then note that you need both a high protein and low in carbohydrates and sugars in order to achieve this.
A Medifast rapid comparison of protein shakes and smoothies Special K: I will specifically address the example I gave, but there are tons of smoothies available in the grocery store. I would say very few of these favorable stack up nutrition and protein to carbohydrate ratio of the Medifast shakes, but I can show best I can say. For this example, I will be with 55 smoothies because they are the most popular.
In terms of calories, much lower Medifast with only 100, compared to 180. 80 extra calories is almost double and they can really make a difference. Now, K version has a respectable 10 grams of protein, while Medifast who barely edges 11. But for me the real difference lies in the amount of carbohydrates, which is 29 (the K), compared to 13. This is more than double the amount that, in my opinion is very important and sufficient to prevent them from being able to get into ketosis. Similarly, the special movement of K contains much more sugar a whopping 18 grams, compared to 8 grams. Again, this is more than double and can be a great thing in terms of ketosis.
I hope this article has shown that while it may be nice to pick up your smoothies impulsively at the supermarket, in terms of nutrition and efficiency, which may well be better to wait few days it would take for the company to ship your order. And that all products are sold individually, and it is not necessary to order huge just to buy any products.
