Anyone try the raw food diet?
I've been reading about the benefits of raw food diet, and gives you more energy and better skin. However, there is a shortage of vitamin B12 and calcium. Can you complete vitamins to take the place of the vitamins are not getting? Someone has something good or bad to say they have tried that?
I love to eat raw. I try to do most of the time. I switched to a vegan diet for six months and I lost weight my skin is better and I have lots of energy. Somehow I stumbled on a vegan diet by accident. I wanted to do a detox diet, so I bought the book. Raw Food Detox Diet by Natalia Rose and planned to try it for a full month. Once I started I loved it. It quickly became a way of life. I lost about 10 pounds after 3 months and have an overall sense of well being. I like his approach to raw food diet, not all or nothing for their different levels of raw food diet that fits your lifestyle and food preference. Rose plans suggest eating raw until dinner, then a cooked dinner. I like his way to ease yourself into a healthy approach and outlook of the overall diet, it really kept me motivated and positive about the whole thing. You can get all vitamins and nutrients you need from fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains. I have planned to eat meat once in a while, but when you do not really miss it. My suggestion do a little research and develop a plan that best suits your food preferences and lifestyle. Good luck
